Holiday Photo Dump
Christmas Eve spent at a family friend’s with their family & a few other guests. Probably the best meal & the most relaxing day of the holidays.
A holiday wouldn’t be complete without some Maggie shenanigans.
Including accidentally eating one of Blue’s epilepsy pills. Nothing like going blind, shallow breathing, & 12 hours on an IV, with some charcoal mixed with wet food to start the holidays off right. 🙄
Lots of time with Blue.
A few nights out. Hockey game, supper, a couple of movies.
More spoiled dog antics. On Christmas Eve she was the boss even around two dogs roughly 100x her size.
A first! Ice fishing! Borrowed clothes.
Blue has his own chair…
My own personal Sherpa. I was barely able to walk in the snow with 3-4 layers of clothing… It was a « warmer » day of -30*C…it had been -38*C or colder (without the wind) most of the week.
I caught a little fish, Gregg caught two, & we stayed warm in this little hut.
New Year’s Eve spent at home.
No makeup no hair no fancy clothes. But a great chef made us some ribs!
New Year’s Day was Korean BBQ & a night at the movies.

I don’t know how this dog is still alive. Her sight has returned (apparently it’s very common in neurotoxicity to lose sight & regain it slowly), she’s getting her spunk back…this was a fright.
Delivered my favourite Christmas gift. A DIY barn wood coat rack complete with little fish cast iron hooks.

And now the dog & I are back home…in the polar vortex again. 🥶. Winter is awesome.
